Sunshine Motorway (Mooloolaba - Peregian), David Low Way to Yandina - Coolum Road, duplication, business case
The department is planning to duplicate the Sunshine Motorway, between David Low Way to just north of Yandina-Coolum Road.
Yandina—Coolum Road, South Coolum Road and School Road, upgrade roundabout
Design has been completed to replace the roundabout with a signalised intersection.
The project will reduce congestion and traffic queueing near the intersection. The project will also improve safety for pedestrians and all road users.

- New concrete footpath to connect the Barns Lane school bus drop-off zone to School Road.
- New dedicated left and right-turn lanes into School Road from Yandina—Coolum Road.
- New dedicated right-turn lane into South Coolum Road from Yandina—Coolum Road.
- Road pavement widening to incorporate the above traffic modifications.
- Active transport improvements including on-road bike lanes
- Updating signage and linemarking.

Current status
