Trinder Park train station upgrade

Trinder Park train station is being relocated further north to be more centrally located between the Kuraby and Woodridge train stations. The relocation will improve safety and network efficiency due to its new straightened section of the track.

The section of track near Trinder Park train station was originally constructed in 1888, and features a considerable curve that limits the operational potential of the Gold Coast train line.

The Trinder Park train station upgrade will be designed and constructed in compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act (1992) to provide and improve accessibility for all users.

As part of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project, we will also upgrade the level crossing between Railway Parade and Station Road, Woodridge.

Trinder Crossing level crossing upgrades

We are removing the Trinder Crossing level crossing between Railway Parade and Station Road, Woodridge. A new road-over-rail bridge will be constructed at Acacia Road, with new local road connections through to Smith Road. The new bridge will be closer to the relocated Trinder Park station.

Pedestrian connections will be provided over the rail corridor at Smith Road.
